ZoltOps

Pest control software for recurring treatments and contracts

Pest control earns on routes, contracts and treatments that happen on time. When a visit slips the customer notices, and when a contract lapses they rarely say so — they simply do not call again. ZoltOps makes the next visit and the next renewal the default rather than something to remember.

A treatment schedule only exists if it is written down

Monthly and quarterly treatments are the product. Yet the schedule often lives with the technician who has always done that route, which works until they are on leave, busy, or gone — and then a customer who paid for a year of visits gets ten.

Recording the treatment cycle against the contract rather than against a person is what makes the schedule survive a change of staff. The visit is on the record, the record belongs to the business.

Commercial contracts are renewed late or not at all

A commercial pest contract for a restaurant, warehouse or hospital is worth defending. It also has a fixed end date that nobody is watching in the middle of a busy month, and the customer will not remind you — a lapsed contract costs them nothing until there is a problem.

Every contract in ZoltOps carries its expiry date, and a renewal reminder goes out 30 days before it ends, to your team and to the customer. It is sent once per contract, so a busy inbox does not train anyone to ignore it.

Residential leads die in the gap before the first call

Leads from an advertisement or a listing arrive with no context and a short window of intent. If nobody calls back the same day the customer books whoever answered first.

Enquiries are captured with the source, quoted for the treatment, and followed up until they are booked or closed — so a lead that goes nowhere does so on purpose, not by being forgotten.

Proof of service is what commercial customers pay for

A restaurant or warehouse buys pest control partly to satisfy somebody else — an auditor, a client, a regulator. What they need from you is a record: which site, which date, which technician, what was treated. A treatment that happened but was never written down is, for their purposes, a treatment that did not happen.

Jobs carry the site, the date, the technician and the status, and completed visits are counted against the contract, so the history behind a renewal conversation is already there when the customer asks for it.

Chemicals and consumables come out of stock and can be recorded against the job, and invoices are raised with GST against the customer’s place of supply — so the cost of a treatment and the tax on it are both known without a separate spreadsheet.

Questions people ask

Can it schedule recurring pest control treatments?

Yes. A contract records how often visits are due and the next visit date, and completed visits are counted against it, so you can see what has been delivered against what was sold.

Does it handle multi-site commercial contracts?

Yes. Commercial customers with more than one site are kept under one customer record, with the jobs and visit history for each site against it.

How far ahead is a pest contract renewal reminder sent?

Thirty days before the contract expires, once per contract, to your team and to the customer — enough time to quote and close the renewal before cover ends.

Can technicians update treatments from the field?

Yes. There is an Android app alongside the web application, so a technician can see the jobs assigned to them and mark a treatment done from site rather than reporting it back to the office.

Does it keep a record of which chemicals were used?

Consumables are held as stock and can be recorded against the job they were used on, so the cost of a treatment is known rather than estimated at the end of the month.
